In short: we collect the personal information you choose to give us when you enquire about admissions, register for a batch, log in to the student portal, or contact us.

Depending on how you interact with CSWITHSAYA, this may include:

• Name and guardian/parent name (for student enrolments)
• Phone number / WhatsApp number
• Email address
• Username and login credentials for the student portal (student.cswithsaya.com)
• Academic details you submit — e.g. exam session, syllabus (2210 / 0478 / 9618), current school/college
• Messages you send us via WhatsApp, the Google Admission Form, or the contact page
• Payment/fee correspondence where applicable (we do not store card numbers — payments are handled by bank transfer or a third-party processor)

We do not knowingly collect sensitive categories of information such as religion, ethnicity, health, or biometric data, and we do not require this information to provide our Services.

Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our server and analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics/Search Console) may automatically log standard technical data such as IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited, and approximate location, for security and to understand how the site is used.

2. How we use your information

We process your information to:

• Respond to admissions enquiries and process registrations for O/A Level Computer Science batches
• Provide access to the student portal, recorded lectures, notes, and past-paper resources
• Communicate with you about batch timings, session updates, and results — via WhatsApp, email, or phone
• Improve our Services, lectures, and website content
• Maintain the security of our website and student portal, and prevent misuse (e.g. unauthorised redistribution of protected lecture recordings and notes)
• Comply with applicable law

We only process personal information where we have a valid reason to do so — such as your consent when you submit a form, or our legitimate interest in running and securing the academy.

3. When and with whom we share information

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We may share it only in these situations:

• Service providers who help us operate — e.g. our website/hosting provider, Supabase (form and inquiry storage), Google Forms/Sheets (admissions), WhatsApp Business, and analytics providers — bound to use the data only to provide their service to us.
• Legal requirements — if required to comply with the law, a court order, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of CSWITHSAYA, our students, or the public.
• Business changes — in the event of a restructuring, merger, or transfer of CSWITHSAYA's operations, information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

4. Cookies & tracking technologies

Our website may use cookies and similar technologies (e.g. via Google Analytics, YouTube embeds) to remember preferences, keep the site secure, and understand how visitors use the site. You can disable cookies in your browser settings; some features (like staying logged in to the portal) may not work correctly if you do.

Embedded YouTube lecture videos may set their own cookies in line with Google/YouTube's own privacy policy.

5. How long we keep your information

We keep personal information only for as long as necessary — for example, for as long as you remain an enrolled or prospective student, plus a reasonable period afterwards for academic records and legal/accounting purposes. When no longer needed, we delete or anonymise it.

6. How we keep your information safe

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures (such as access controls and secure hosting) to protect your information, including watermarking and access restrictions on recorded lectures and notes to prevent unauthorised redistribution. However, no method of transmission or storage over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your privacy rights & choices

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal information, and to withdraw consent or opt out of marketing messages at any time.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details in Section 11, or via our Contact page. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe.

You can opt out of promotional WhatsApp/email messages at any time by telling us directly — we will still send essential service messages (e.g. batch/class updates) to enrolled students.

8. Children's & students' privacy

Many of our students are minors preparing for O Level, IGCSE, or A Level examinations. Where a student is under 18, we collect information about them with the involvement of a parent or guardian (e.g. through the admission form or WhatsApp enquiry), and treat that information with the same care described in this notice. Parents/guardians may contact us at any time to review, correct, or request deletion of their child's information.

9. International visitors

CSWITHSAYA is based in Pakistan and primarily serves students studying Cambridge International (CAIE) syllabi in Pakistan and internationally. If you access our Services from outside Pakistan, your information may be processed in Pakistan or by service providers located elsewhere; we take reasonable steps to protect it in line with this notice wherever it is processed.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for legal reasons. The "Last updated" date at the top will always show the latest revision. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
